Death: The Reason to Live Life Fully
ABOUT THE GATHERING
Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it — a threshold, a teacher, a mirror.
In this half-day workshop, we invite you to gather in a spirit of reverence and curiosity as we turn gently toward one of life’s most profound passages. Through mindfulness, story, somatic presence, and deep listening, we’ll explore death not as something to fear, but as something that can illuminate the way we live.
Together, we will:
Sit with the mystery of impermanence
Meet the body’s wisdom in the face of fear and loss
Share personal and cultural narratives of dying
Practice presence — for ourselves, and for those we love
This is not a lecture, but a shared experience — a circle held by four guides from different paths:
Matt Condon, mindfulness teacher and former pastor
Sherry Burns, end-of-life doula and hospice volunteer
Dr. Jessie Tierney, physical therapist and trauma-sensitive yoga teacher
Tony Santelli, elder and visionary, transformed by a near-death encounter with COVID
Whether you are grieving, preparing, supporting others, or simply feeling the stirrings of a deeper inquiry — you are welcome here.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your stories, your silence.
