Every part of you is welcome here. <3
Join Laura Bales at Una Vida Meditation & Movement for an evening of somatic breathwork and community.
This is a space for you to arrive exactly as you are. You do not need to be calm, clear, healed, spiritual, or put together. You do not need to know what you need or have the right words for what you are feeling.
You are welcome to come with the parts of you that feel open and hopeful, and the parts that feel tired, guarded, overwhelmed, tender, uncertain, disconnected, or stuck. There is room for all of it here.
In a world that often asks us to perform, keep up, and hold it all together, this is a place to simply exist and feel and breathe and move.
This is truly a container for you to release what your body is ready to release, reconnect with yourself, and meet every part of you with greater compassion, curiosity, and care.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an active breathing practice that uses continuous, intentional breaths and body awareness to help your body access, process, and release stored stress and trauma, while opening space for emotion, awareness, and deeper connection with yourself.
When difficult experiences are not fully processed, the body can continue holding them as tension, emotional charge, numbness, or patterns of feeling stuck. This style of breathing gives the body a way to move and discharge what it has been carrying in a safe, supported space.
Each experience is different. You may encounter emotion, movement, sound, stillness, insight, laughter, tears, or something that is difficult to put into words. There is no right way to experience breathwork, and there is nothing you need to make happen.
Everything offered is an invitation. You are always encouraged to listen to your body and move at your own pace.

About Laura
Laura Bales is a Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, Somatic Breathwork Facilitator, and master’s candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Somatic Body Psychotherapy.
Her work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. Laura is a trauma survivor, and her approach has been shaped by years of navigating survival, healing, and the long, messy, imperfect process of coming home to herself.
Her intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully, authentically, and genuinely yourself. A space where the parts of you that have felt silenced, shamed, guarded, overwhelmed, or shut down do not need to disappear in order to belong.
There was never something wrong with you. There was something that happened to you.Every part of you is welcome here, and Laura truly means that.
