When we gather to grieve, we weave strength, connection, and healing into the fabric of the collective tapestry.
This community grief ritual is a space to honor what we have loved, lost, endured, and longed for—and to allow what has been carried within us to move as raw expression through breath, sound, song and movement in a highly attuned and supportive field. This is how we alchemize the most challenging and painful experiences of our hearts, minds, bodies and souls.
Throughout the day, we’ll move together through an arc that includes a guided grief ritual, communal song circle to weave our hearts and voices, sacred and embodied ecstatic dance, and a deeply restorative sound journey for decompression and integration.
We’ll offer an abundance of opportunities to be witnessed, held & celebrated. Feel the power & potency of processing grief and moving emotion, held in the arms of the village. This is how it’s meant to be and how it used to be. It’s what we believe is primarily missing from today’s past-paced and disconnected societies.
All forms of grief are invited into expression here, no matter the intensity or degree of charge: we are prepared to hold space for all of it, including personal and collective loss, life transitions, unmet longings and desires, archetypal and planetary grief, and the tender places that may not yet (if ever) have words.
Every offering will be invitational, with plenty of space to listen to your body and participate only in the ways that feel true and helpful for you.
Held by Elinor Benzikri, Maya Golan, Kassandra Brown & Jules Lupine. Supported by a highly attuned team of trauma-informed mystics.
Sliding-scale contribution: $50–$150
Please choose the amount that feels accessible and aligned. Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Ages 12+
This gathering is intended for ages 12 and older due to the potential for heightened nervous-system activation, emotional expression, and somatic release within the ritual space.
Come to witness and be witnessed, to lend your voice, and to dance as a form of expression and transmutation. Come to release what you’ve been holding so you can find a little more ease, and finally rest. We’re here to collectively remember that grief was never meant to be carried alone. We get to really, truly feel why this matters, as our time together unfolds.
